Djerba-Chenini 3 Days /2 Nights

EXCURSION PROGRAM

Day 1:

Departure from the hotel via the Roman road towards Tataouine.

Arrival at Chahbania for a photo stop at the famous salt lake.

Arrival in Tataouine, visit of the market and the city center.

Continuation towards Guermessa, the village perched on a rocky ridge at the foot of which stands a very ancient mosque.

Lunch.

Guided tour of the Berber village of Chenini.

Option for a 2-hour guided hike (optional).

Overnight stay in troglodyte rooms.

Day 2:

Breakfast.

Departure via the rocky tracks of the Reg.

Continuation towards the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, a small paradise in the desert with a hot spring suitable for swimming.

Possibility of a quad excursion (optional).

Lunch and swimming.

Departure to the Zmela camp or similar and free time to enjoy the sunset.

Dinner and overnight stay in tents.

Day 3:

Breakfast and departure to Matamata.

Technical stop at the Berber village of Tamazret.

Visit of a troglodyte house in Matmata and lunch.

Visit to the oldest Star Wars set in Tunisia.

Continuation to Toujane.

Photo stop at the Berber village of Toujane.

Return to Djerba via the ferry.
