Coffee break at Loubigla.

Continuation towards Ain El Anba, photo stop.

Continuation towards the Ksar Ghilane oasis, surrounded by vast ochre sand dunes (Eastern Erg).

Arrival at Ksar Ghilane, free time to admire the oases around the hot spring. Swimming in the hot spring.

Lunch.

Visit to the Ksar El Halouf granary.

Return to Djerba.

Ksar Ghilane 2 Days/ 1 Night

EXCURSION PROGRAM

Day 1:

Departure from the hotel via the Roman road towards Tataouine.

Stop at Chahbania for a photo break at the salt lake.

Arrival in Tataouine, visit the market and the city center.

Continuation to Chenini, a village perched on the mountainside, for a walking tour.

Lunch in Chenini.

Departure to reach the Ksar Ghilane oasis surrounded by vast ochre sand dunes.

Possibility of swimming in the hot spring.

Departure by 4*4 along the track for a night in the Tunisian desert, to the Saharan camp.

Settlement, sunset over the desert, sandbread baking ceremony.

Dinner and overnight stay in the Tunisian desert under private tents.

Day 2:

Breakfast.

Departure to Matmata via the Berber village of Tamezret.

Lunch.

Photo stop at the Berber village of Toujane.

Return to Djerba.

Tunisian Desert Quad Ride at Ksar Ghilane

Continuation towards the Ksar Ghilane oasis, surrounded by vast ochre sand dunes (Eastern Erg).

Arrival at Ksar Ghilane, meeting with the Quad guide for conquering the sand dunes of the Grand Eastern Erg (quad circuit loop ride lasting around 3 hours).

Lunch.

Swimming in the hot spring (optional).

Return to Djerba.
